In October 2024, NATO DEEP eAcademy held a specialized workshop focused on AI-powered information management, addressing the growing role of AI in research and science. This workshop provided researchers with practical skills to enhance their approaches to information collection, analysis, and organization, helping them effectively manage large-scale data typical of academic and scientific environments.

The workshop consisted of two focused sessions, guiding participants through AI tools and methods designed to streamline research workflows. Attendees explored AI-driven approaches for synthesizing data, generating useful prompts, and receiving targeted AI feedback to support their research. These practical sessions aimed to equip researchers with adaptable skills that align AI applications with their specific research needs.

The event also fostered collaboration with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), as an ESDC representative participated and shared insights on using AI tools in educational settings. This exchange strengthened ties between NATO DEEP eAcademy and ESDC, promoting enhanced collaborative learning strategies across institutions and encouraging ongoing integration of AI-driven methods in education.
