From July 21 to 27, 2025, a comprehensive Advanced Distribution Learning (ADL) focused workshop, involving representatives from NATO DEEP Tunisia was conducted in Poland. The seven-day programme focused on advancing participants’ capabilities in instructional design and digital course creation methodologies. The workshop provided attendees with extensive hands-on training in e-learning development practices, covering the entire lifecycle of online course creation, from conceptualisation through deployment. Participants engaged in practical exercises that emphasized pedagogical design principles, content structuring, and learner engagement strategies essential for effective digital education delivery. Throughout the sessions, the Tunisian participants gained comprehensive experience in modern instructional design frameworks, multimedia integration techniques, and the development of assessment methodologies. The training addressed critical aspects of digital learning architecture, including user experience optimization, accessibility standards, and scalable content delivery systems. By the conclusion of the workshop, attendees had acquired the technical expertise and methodological knowledge necessary to implement robust online course development processes within their institutions. This approach means a significant advancement in the ongoing efforts, strengthening Tunisia’s HMES ADL capacity.
