NATO DEEP and Tunisia are taking significant measures to modernize Tunisia’s higher military education system (HMES), reinforcing a shared commitment to fostering regional stability. Between November 5 and 8, 2024, NATO’s Defence and Security Cooperation Directorate met with Tunisia’s Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence representatives to evaluate the progress of ongoing reforms connected with NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP). The discussions focused i.e. on the progress made by Tunisian HMES on the ADL capacity-building process. The main goal of these endeavours is to create an efficient solution (portal), based on the LMS ILIAS platform, which Tunisian HMES is going to introduce.
