The Learning Management System (LMS) ILIAS Advanced Administration Course was conducted as an online event from February 9-12, 2026. Of the 23 participants representing Iraqi military institutions, 17 successfully completed the full course programme. The course was designed to equip participants with the advanced knowledge and practical skills required to effectively administer LMS ILIAS. Key topics included advanced system administration, user management, the creation and management of institutional structures within military environments, content organization, as well as system configuration and customization. Participants learned how to configure and manage ILIAS in alignment with their institution’s operational needs, and how to identify and resolve common technical issues. By the end of the course, participants demonstrated confidence in performing advanced administrative tasks within ILIAS, enabling them to independently manage and optimize their institutional e-learning environments.
