On December 16-19, 2024, NATO DEEP eAcademy held a workshop on Basic Virtual Content Creation for Iraq’s military personnel, which brought together 25 participants from 15 military institutions. It was designed to equip participants with tools and knowledge to develop engaging and interactive virtual learning materials. The workshop, conducted by NATO DEEP eAcademy Subject Matter Experts (SME) introduced participants to useful tools like the ILIAS SCORM editor, H5P, and Rise, providing practical experience with these content creation tools. Using the ADDIE model, participants explored strategies for designing and structuring content, emphasising interactivity and multimedia integration. Moreover, ethical issues such as copyright and data privacy were addressed during the workshop By the end of it, participants were ready to apply their new skills to enhance digital learning within their institutions. This highlights another step that the NATO DEEP eAcademy took in sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices within the ADL community.
