On 20 and 27 June, participants took part in Module 09: Emerging Technologies in Online Teaching, exploring how innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and gamification are transforming the way online learning is designed and delivered.
Throughout the module, participants gained an understanding of how these technologies work, assessed their potential to enhance student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes, and explored practical ways to integrate them into their own educational practice. The sessions focused on using emerging technologies not as a replacement for effective teaching, but as tools to create more interactive, engaging, and learner-centred online experiences.
With Module 09 completed, participants are now approaching the final stage of the Online Teaching Fundamentals Course, with Module 10 and the closing ceremony.
