The closing ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Fourth Edition of the e-Instructor Certification Programme (eICP) was conducted on July 8. The final summing meeting, which took place after five months of weekly online sessions, gave participants a chance to voice their ideas and teachers an opportunity to reflect on their experience with eICP. All of the participants in the Fourth Edition of eICP, who were faculty members from PME schools in Allied and Partner nations, got certificates of completion. The three e-Instructor Certification Programme students were recognized during the closing ceremony and given a special Jean d’Andurain Prize for being the best student.
The participants of the 4th edition, which began on February 25, were familiar with the essential elements of e-learning. Nine theme blocks formed the program, executed by 19 SMEs. Participants worked with instructors from the NATO DEEP eAcademy and affiliated universities for 250 academic hours to improve their knowledge and learn new skills in distance learning.
The NATO DEEP eAcademy is already preparing for the next edition of the e-Instructor Certification Program based on feedback from alumni and demand.
