The Advanced LMS ILIAS Administrator course was successfully concluded online as part of the second cycle of training programs aimed at enhancing the distance learning system within the Tunisian Armed Forces from 16-19.10.2024. The course was designed to equip participants with the advanced knowledge and skills required for the effective administration and utilization of the ILIAS learning management system. Key topics covered included system and user management, course creation and management, structure and content organization, and system configuration. Out of the 12 participants, 10 completed the course and have been nominated for the subsequent Basic Virtual content creation course. The participants, from Land Forces Staff, Air Force Staff, Naval Staff, Military Higher Education and Scientific Research Department, Higher Military School, Staff School, General Department of Signalling and Media, Defence Intelligence and Security Agency demonstrated high levels of engagement and interest in the educational material, which is intended to enable them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills more effectively in future ILIAS portal administration.
