The e-Instructor Certification Programme (e-ICP) wrapped up its fifth edition on February 17th. Over five months, 21 participants from 12 countries (NATO and NATO DEEP Partners) learned how to be better online instructors. This event marked the culmination of five months of dedicated efforts, with weekly online sessions aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in e-learning. During the final meeting, the alumni had the opportunity to share their insights and experiences gained from the e-ICP journey. All participants received certificates of completion, acknowledging their dedication and successful completion of the programme. Additionally, special recognition was given to three of the best students of the e-ICP, who were awarded the Jean d’Andurain Prize for their outstanding performance. The edition #5 of the e-ICP commenced on October 14, 2023 with participants already equipped with a foundational understanding of e-learning principles. Throughout the programme, which consisted of nine thematic subjects/blocks, facilitated by 19 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), participants engaged in many topics related to digital dexterity, AI and VR included. They collaborated closely with instructors from the NATO DEEP eAcademy and affiliated universities, striving to enhance their expertise and acquire skills demanded in the new learning ecosystem.
