Ukrainian ADL Conference featured the NATO DEEP eAcademy participants

On the 21st of November 2022, the National Defence University of Ukraine, with the support of the Jefferson Institute, hosted an international scientific and practical conference on “Challenges of ADL implementation in the educational process of higher military educational institutions and possible ways of their solution”. The official partners of the event were i.e. NATO DEEP eAcademy and the Polish Association for Security. The conference was conducted online, with simultaneous translation. A total of 180 representatives, from different defence education institutions, representing 17 countries participated. A total of 26 speakers focused on: (1) the presentation of the results of the Ukrainian developments of distance learning, (2) the exchange of experience in the field of distance learning, (3) the development of consolidated decisions on the improvement of the mechanism of distance learning implementation in the educational process, (3) views and ways to improve the distance learning solutions in the educational process encompassing the senior military personnel. Among the speakers, there were experts from the NATO DEEP eAcademy. Piotr Gawliczek with a presentation entitled: NATO DEEP eAcademy education and training best practices-update. Marcin Jozwiak and Magdalena Stabla with a presentation entitled: Striving for the best educational experience – quality assurance in the e-Instructor Certification Programme. Tanja Geiss with the presentation entitled: Hybrid Learning – a not-so-new idea, newly interpreted.
