The Polish version of the NATO ADL 076 course – Cyber Defense Awareness (CDA) was officially launched on January 31, 2023. The ceremony, organized at the Elk Campus Branch of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, was attended by representatives of four entities involved in the project: Director of the Elk Campus Branch UWM in Olsztyn, Director of the Polish Association for Security, Dean of the National Defence Faculty of the War Studies University, and the Director of the NATO DEEP eAcademy. It means that the course is now available not only in English, Bosnian, Ukrainian, Arabic but also in Polish.
The main purpose of the Cyber Defense Awareness course is to provide awareness, basic knowledge, and familiarisation on the most important and relevant topics of the Cyber Defence and IT Security area. The course also improves the general user’s understanding of cyber security concerns and ways to reduce those risks. The CDA course provides an introduction to basic cyber security to enable learners to get familiar with attacks, jargon, and defense strategies.
