As NATO DEEP eAcademy we are pleased to present the outcomes of the recent “Social Media & VR in Education and Society” workshops conducted throughout March. Over this month we managed to organize 2 workshops for a wide range of participants. In this course educators engaged in a carefully crafted program, blending synchronous online meetings and self-paced activities.

The workshops began with a detailed examination of social media’s pivotal role in education, exploring innovative strategies to enhance learning experiences. Subsequently, during the second week, participants explored virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies, identifying key avenues for their integration into educational practices.

Real-world case studies were analyzed, shedding light on the advantages and limitations inherent in these technological tools. Culminating in the successful completion of projects by all participants, these workshops underscored their adeptness in harnessing technology to enhance educational outcomes.

Stay tuned for upcoming workshops. Registration form will be available soon.
