The 2023 Spring meeting of the NTGTG IT&ED group was held on 12-16 February in Rome, Italy. The location was the Circolo Ufficiali Pio IX. The representatives, delegates, and guests from twenty countries participated, including a four-person delegation from Ukraine. NATO DEEP eAcademy took part as the guest, to update the participants on current and planned education and training activities. The agenda has mainly featured in-person sessions, but also online participation was possible. Microsoft Teams was the platform that was used for this purpose. Apart from national briefings – collaborative breakout sessions, open group discussions, and SME presentations were held. The visit to NATO M7S COE was also organized. The following topics were raised, as the mandated tasks: 1. STANAG Update (Develop a Standardization Recommendation (STANREC) to Augment STANAG 2591, 2. Learning Analytics as a New STANAG Subtask, 3. The future of the NTGTG IT&ED Group, 4. Sharing e-Courses and Online Course Catalog, 5. ADL Handbook, 6. NATO ADL Capability Maturing Model. 7. Future Technical Specifications, 8. NATO ADL Glossary of IT&ED Terms. In the “Blue Skies” discussions, two topics were raised: 1. Quantifying Environmental Impacts at the Course Level, 2. Components of the Learning Ecosystem: MetaverseXR/VR/AI (ChatGPT). The Ukrainian delegation delivered the presentations on three topics: 1. Transformation of Military Education in Ukraine, 2. Total Learning Architecture (TLA) Military Ecosystem in Ukraine, 3. Computer Adaptive Language Testing according to NATO STANAG 6001 (CALT).
