On 2 March 2023, NATO DEEP eAcademy team members (Danuta Pietraszkiewicz, Justyna Kowalczys, Katarzyna Kulla) participated in the online session “Lunch and Learn – E-Instructor Insights: Applying the Lessons of Pandemic Learning at NATO Military Institutions”, as the activity organised by the Royal Military College of Canada. The key objective of the meeting was to present the NATO DEEP eAcademy e-ICP project that provides support in professional military education to NATO and Partner countries. The project, launched in October 2020, aimed to prepare civil and military faculty in professional military education institutions to become fully operational in an e-learning environment and to provide knowledge on how to design, plan and implement online classes / courses. Currently edition #4 of the e-ICP programme is ongoing. An innovative and spontaneous outcome of joint cooperation between the programme designers, tutors, and participants resulted in the e-book “e-Instructor Insights 2022: Applying the Lessons of Pandemic Learning”. The concept and approach were presented to the “Lunch and Learn” audience, hosting e-ICP tutors. They presented their chapters and reflections on the current instructional tools and technologies. The emphasis was placed on international cooperation and the best practices of sharing tangible projects. The aforementioned book will be officially launched this month.
