The 2nd International Counter-Terrorism Congress took place on April 9-10, 2024, in the Robert Schuman Conference Center of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. The event was attended by Polish and international experts representing NATO structures, entities of the international security environment, as well as government and local administration units. The Congress was attended by approximately 300 people, also from Ukraine, and was held under the auspices of NATO DEEP eAcademy, as one of the Honorary Patrons. The Polish Association for Security was among the organizational and substantive partners of the congress. The Counter-Terrorism Congress is the largest cyclical event of this type in Poland. The areas of interest of this year’s edition will include the following issues: (1) Terrorist attacks – essence, characteristics, and case studies, (2) Legal basis for counter-terrorism activities, (3) Institutional dimension of counter-terrorism activities, (4) Prevention and preparation in counter-terrorism activities, (5) Response and reconstruction in counter-terrorism activities, (6) Counter-terrorism activities.
