Between 8th-13th December 2023 NATO DEEP eAcademy and the Polish Association for Security organized an ADL workshop within the scope of NATO DEEP ARM in Olsztyn. This event hosted five participants from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, the National Defence Research University (NDRU), and the Military Academy named after V. Sargsyan. The NATO DEEP eAcademy Team provided workshops on: (1) analysis of the situation and needs of ADL in Armenia, (2) how to effectively implement classes using e-learning platforms and videoconferencing systems – a review of good practices, (3) ADL systems in NATO countries – a review of good practices in military education, (4) support in the field of using new technologies in teaching military English. The activities also involved the meeting with the Director of the Elk Branch Campus of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the tour of the Ełk Branch Campus and a VR interactive session. The culminating point gathered local student community on two lectures, The first one, on “NATO DEEP ARM – ADL Capacity Building Context” was delivered by Tigran Harutyunyan Ph.D., from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, while the second one, on “National Defence Research University – NDRU” was delivered by Arlen Shahverdyan, PhD.
