On November 7 th -10 th NATO DEEP eAcademy team: Justyna Kowalczys, Danuta Pietraszkiewicz and Gigi Roman, conducted the first piloting session of a recently developed workshop “AI Tools for Education”. Workshop participants were introduced to a list of new AI technologies for use in training and education. The team first learned about AI tools, their features and the opportunities offered for the educators and the trainers. Modern AI solutions for creating training materials, presentations, video and audio were also presented. In the second stage, specialized programmes and the way to use them in practice were presented in detail. Workshop participants were introduced to a list of new AI technologies for practical application in training and education. The workshop conducted online, attended by participants from the National Defence University (NDU) in Bucharest, Romania, was a resounding success, yielding excellent outcomes and receiving highly positive feedback. Building on this success, NATO DEEP eAcademy team plans to develop follow-up sessions, advanced workshops, and a platform for ongoing collaboration among educators interested in AI integration. We believe this initiative has the potential to further enhance the capabilities of our education and training programmes.
