Presentations, discussions, and competitions – this is the essence of the “3rd Regional Conference – New Horizons of the Education”, combined with the “2nd Regional Tournament of Junior VR Engineers”, which took place on 7 December 2022 in Dabrowa Gornicza, at the seat of the WSB University (Poland). The events were organized simultaneously, within the frames of the cooperation involving the NATO DEEP eAcademy and entities from Poland. During the conference, various aspects related to the practical implementation/ utility of VR technology were discussed, while NATO DEEP was represented by the NATO DEEP eAcademy Director. Assoc. Prof. Piotr Gawliczek, PhD updated the participants with the essence of the VR-related events within NATO DEEP Armenia and NATO DEEP Azerbaijan. The conference held in Dabrowa Gornicza is in the mainstream of the strategic direction of NATO DEEP – the introduction of VR solutions within the education and training environment of the Partner countries. Also, as the follow-up of the congress: “VR/AR applications in practice”, which took place on 14-15 July 2022 in Wisła (Poland).
