On October 26-28, representatives from Armenia’s universities participated in an online workshop on ADL team building and development.
The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the principles of ADL team building. Demonstrate how to plan, and organize the work of an ADL team using the ADDIE model. Discuss the importance of IT in ADL team activities. Indicate the tasks for each member of the ADL team: project manager, multimedia specialist, evaluator, instructional designer, and IT specialist. Outline good practices for ADL team activities in military and civilian environments. Assist in preparing the establishment of an ADL team in Armenia and identify needs and opportunities

Summary
During the three-day workshop, participants were introduced to the principles of forming an ADL team. Participants learned the specifics of each ADL team member’s job and were introduced to the ADDIE model for designing online courses. During the workshop, participants completed an online course on the ADDIE model. In the online sessions, each step of working on the model was discussed in practice. They were shown the extent to which team members participate in this work at each stage.
In practical sessions, they learned how to understand and use the ADDIE model when working on e-learning projects. IT tools were presented that help the ADL team plan and execute tasks and design online courses.
At the end of the workshop, participants received certificates of participation.
