On 26-27 April 2023, the Partnership for Peace Consortium ADL Working Group (PfPC ADL WG) met in Bucharest, bringing together representatives from various countries and organizations. Among the participants were Danuta Pietraszkiewicz and Jerzy Tomasik, who represented the NATO DEEP eAcademy. The eAcademy’s collaboration with the PfPC ADL WG was an opportunity to present the activities and initiatives of the institutions related to ADL and specialized education and training.
NATO DEEP eAcademy participants provided an overview of online training courses, which cover a wide range of topics, including cyber security. These courses are designed to meet the needs of military and civilian personnel, as well as industry professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills in new technologies in education. Also discussed was eAcademy’s involvement in various international events and partnerships aimed at promoting online education and developing digital competencies among partner country representatives.
An important part of the meeting was to discuss the activities supporting Ukraine in the field of training and to point out the role played by NATO DEEP in supporting Ukraine. Overall, the presentation by Danuta Pietraszkiewicz and Jerzy Tomasik highlighted the important role of the institution in promoting ADL education, training, and cooperation. The eAcademy’s participation in the PfPC ADL WG meeting demonstrated the institution’s commitment to the Partnership for Peace Consortium’s goals of strengthening international security cooperation and strengthening institutional capacity in ADL.
