Iraqi eLearning Portal becomes more dynamic and spreads its wings!

There are many activities taking place currently, as far as the Iraqi eLearning Portal (IeLP) is concerned, aiming to provide the best assistance to the NMI personnel and Iraqi HMES entities. and to meet the requests formulated. Recently, five new Iraqi institutions were added to the IeLP area: (1) Administration & Logistics School, (2)  Air Defense Command, (3) Tactical Training & Special Combat School, (4) Transport and Supply School, (5) Armor School.  Also, 64 new accounts were registered and activated, so the number of the IeLP users is now 275.

To ensure optimal performance, stress tests are conducted on all working areas of the portal. In the ongoing efforts to enhance the portal’s usability and efficiency, there have been appointed more than 20 group administrators for different institutions. These administrators play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the activities within their respective groups. To further strengthen the support system, four new NU advisers to the IeLP platform. These advisers will provide guidance and assistance to users, ensuring they have a seamless experience while utilizing the resources and features available. The current number of advisers is 21. 

Usability, user satisfaction, and engagement are vital during platform updates. Therefore, the discussions are organized with NU NMI to gather feedback and consult on possible ways to improve the administration process of the ILIAS platform. Administrators of the platform continually monitor the performance of IeLP, conduct regular tests, and stay updated with the latest technology to ensure the portal’s functionality. Additionally, they manage and configure all custom portal applications, integrating new technology systems in collaboration with DEEP Portal administrators.
