Following the successful training sessions in 2023, we’re happy to announce the relaunch of our “Graphics Design for Educators with Canva” workshops. The February events welcomed educators from Ukraine who actively participated and received outstanding feedback on their work. This programme equips educators with the skills to create visually engaging and effective learning materials using the user-friendly Canva platform. Workshop highlights are as follows, based on the interactive sessions lasting four days. Day 1 – introductions, collaborative activities, exploring Canva and the NATO DEEP ADL Portal, with a focus on creating impactful presentations. Day 2 – skill-building. review and address questions, followed by Day 3 – introduction to new design tasks, focusing on video creation. reinforcement and feedback. Day 4 – review homework, Q&A session, and certificate of completion for all participants. Key benefits for the participants are as follows: (1) enhance engagement, create visually appealing presentations, videos, and other learning materials that capture student attention, (2) boost clarity: communicate complex concepts effectively through well-designed visuals. (3) save time: utilize Canva’s user-friendly tools to create materials efficiently.
