On 26 June 2021, after ten months of the online sessions, the closing ceremony of the e-postgraduate studies took place. 23 participants from 16 NATO and NATO Partner countries received certificates of completion, signed by the NATO ASG. The students also received the academic diploma of completion, issued by the Unversity of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM), as the documents recognized within the European Education Area, stating – 260 academic hours, 60 ECTS points, two semesters, 10 subjects.
Also, three participants received a special “Jean d’Andurain’s Prize” – for the best student. After each subject, one student was nominated by the respective teacher. Actually, three students received the same number of nominations!
E-postgraduate studies were organized by the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, based on the agreement with NATO Headquarters. The studies were conducted within the frames of the cooperation between NATO DEEP and European Security and Defence College of the European Union. Ten subjects were conducted by lecturers from NATO Defense College, NATO School Oberammergau, UWM Olsztyn, European Security and Defence College of the European Union, NATO DEEP eAcademy and were held on NATO VC Portal (BigBlueButton based) and NATO DEEP ADL Portal (LMS ILIAS based).
