The Computer Augmented Military English Language – Training & Technology (CAMEL-T&T) programme continues to demonstrate consistent, measurable progress in its mission to support military linguistic training. As a flagship initiative of the NATO DEEP eAcademy, the project has seen another stage of progress throughout May and June 2026, solidifying its role as a leader in specialised educational technology. Our progress is fueled by global collaboration of military English specialists from Armenia, Georgia, Mauritania, and Poland. These experts are currently engaged in intensive item-writing activities, developing high-quality training materials for listening and reading skills. This ensures that every component of the programme is precisely tailored to meet the rigorous demands of real-world military communication and ensures that learning is efficient, relevant, and highly effective.
The CAMEL-T&T programme is now ready for broader implementation. All interested NATO DEEP Partner nations are invited to request the Initial Implementation ePackages (IIeP) through their respective NATO DEEP eAcademy ADL Coordinators. Each comprehensive package includes: (1) the proprietary computer-based algorithm; (2) instructor training; (3) a user manual; and (4) ongoing help desk support.
