From 26 to 28 October 2026, the AI in Professional Military Education (PME) Guide Working Group Meeting took place in Olsztyn, Poland.
The main objective of the meeting was to finalise the development of the AI PME Instructor Guide, a comprehensive resource designed to support military educators and institutions in the effective and responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence into Professional Military Education.
The working group, comprising experts from different countries and institutions, including Armenia, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine, focused on refining the guide’s content and ensuring its consistency, practical relevance, and alignment with the evolving needs of military education. The meeting marked an important step towards completing the guide, which aims to provide military instructors with practical recommendations, examples, and guidance for incorporating AI into their educational practices while maintaining human oversight, academic integrity, and responsible AI use.
