The first pilot edition of the AI and Chat GPT in education workshop took place on the 3rd and 4th of February. The workshop was led by the NATO DEEP eAcademy experts in the field of AI and Chat GPT. The activity aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of AI technology and its applications in various industries, including education. On the first day, the workshop covered the introduction to AI and Chat GPT, its capabilities, and its applications in various industries. Participants were introduced to other tools for building chatbots, and a discussion of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and their potential applications in image and video generation took place. On the second day, the workshop focused on advanced uses of AI and Chat GPT in education and industries. Participants learned about other AI tools and their capabilities, as well as tools for recognizing AI solutions. The day also included a presentation of resources and tips for staying up to date with the latest developments in the field of AI and Chat GPT. It is possible to formulate the conclusion, that the knowledge gained from the workshop will be valuable for participants. The workshop covered such aspects as the challenges, opportunities, and tools based on AI technology, and participants had the chance to see how AI and Chat GPT can simplify their everyday work and help to develop their skills as educators. The goals of the pilot edition of the AI and Chat GPT in education workshop were met and participants left with a comprehensive understanding of AI technology and its applications in various industries, including education. The next workshops will be conducted accordingly.
