From July 16th to 19th, 2023, the ADL workshops within DEEP Armenia were held in Yerevan at the Military University named after Vazgen Sargsyan for military and civilian participants from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Military University, Military Aviation University named after Armenak Khanperyants, and the National Defense Research University. Four NATO DEEP eAcademy SMEs: Justyna Kowalczys (lead), Tanja Geiss, Vitalijs Slendis, and Igors Trofimovs provided tailored workshops for ADL course administrators and ADL course designers. The following areas of ADL expertise were presented, discussed, and trained:
- e-learning and distance learning methodologies;
- blended learning and its specifics;
- online training development: strategies and tools;
- preparing teachers to implement distance learning classes;
- ADDIE, designing online courses: planning, structure, and interactions;
- LMS systems and their application in education.
The workshop concluded with individual consultations on distance training systems applied within NATO countries.
