Following the recommendations of the “NATO DEEP Strategy for Distance Learning Support”, the NATO DEEP eAcademy Team is focused on testing current VR products available on the market, while identifying possible partners, as far as the development of VR in-house products is concerned. Of special importance are the events related to the cooperation of the entities interested in joint projects and complex solutions.
The latest example is the participation of the NATO DEEP eAcademy Director in the signing ceremony of the agreement between partners representing various fields: The Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), AWSB University from Dąbrowa Górnicza (Poland), Moto-Profil company and VRTechnology partnership. The document is dedicated to the cooperation aimed at the development of the projects related to the VR tools in education and training. The ceremony took place in the seat of the KSEZ in Katowice (Poland) on 28 April. Assoc. Prof. Piotr Gawliczek PhD familiarized the signatories of the agreement with the essence of the NATO DEEP Programme focusing on innovative solutions to meet the requirements of the new learning ecosystem and paradigm change in the security environment. Within the frames of the event, the options concerning cooperation within the VR environment were discussed, such as organizing dedicated workshops, training sessions, and coordination meetings involving the representatives of the NATO DEEP and Partner countries.
