NTTC and iFest conferences featured NATO DEEP eAcademy participants

Two conferences were organised in August in the US, focusing on military education and training based on the innovative technologies, tools and approaches. Of special importance was the presence, in both conferences, of two participants from the NDUU named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi, who attended the conferences under the NATO DEEP aegis. The first event – NATO Training Technology Conference was hosted 10-12 August in Norfolk, Virginia. NTTC conference gathered 21 speakers, 6 exhibitors/companies, and more than 60 in-person attendees, Magdalena Stabla – NATO DEEP eAcademy Instructional Designer included, from eleven countries: Canada, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, USA, Ukraine, United Kingdom. The second one – iFest conference was hosted 16-18 August in Washington, D.C. and the main theme was “New Paradigm of Learning: Partner and Prevail”. As usual, there were many activities – keynote speakers, and tutorials. The NATO DEEP eAcademy Deputy Director for Academic Affairs – Marcin Jóźwiak delivered a presentation entitled: Supporting Digital Transformation through Long-Term Faculty Development Programmes. A Case Study of the e-Instructor Certification Programme (see photo). During iFest, COL Maksym Tyschenko was featured as one of the speakers with his presentation entitled: ADL in crisis: report from the frontline. Additionally, NATO DEEP eAcademy experts acted as session chairs – Gigi Roman (Holistic Focus on Military Readiness; Integrating Immersive Technology) and Tanja Geiss (Upskilling Modernization).
