NATO DEEP Workshop in Gdynia

On the 22nd – 23rd March 2022, Westerplatte Heroes Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia, hosted the workshop on the “Digitalization of Educational Resources and Virtual Reality”. This was the event organized jointly by the NATO DEEP and the National Security Faculty of the War Studies University. 96 participants took part in this undertaking, held in a hybrid format, from five countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, and the Republic of Korea, representing i.e., NATO DEEP eAcademy, Academia Forţelor Aeriene “Henri Coandă” din Braşov, Vasil Levski National Military University, Faculty of Artillery, Air Defense and CIS, Hellenic Air Force Academy, Theresianische Militärakademie and WSB University (Poland). Participants exchanged views on the benefits of using VR functionalities in different kinds of education and training. The importance of innovative information technologies, VR included, and the choice of effective tools for the organization of educational activities, using VR technologies, were considered.
