The e-CTRC – online counter-terrorism capacity-building course is now open to participants from Allied and partner countries. NATO officially launched its standardised counter-terrorism curriculum in 2020, marking a first among international organizations. Experts have been working on converting the Counter-Terrorism Reference Curriculum (CTRC) into a comprehensive online course since then. This course (e-CTRC), which builds on the CTRC’s modules, gives participants a tool for distance learning that will help them comprehend the problems caused by international terrorism and develop effective responses. The course is available on the Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) eAcademy platform. A sample version is available for testing.More information about the e-CTRC, statistics included, will be available in the special issue of the NATO DEEP ADL Newsletter.
