The four-day workshop on advanced distributed learning took place in Belgrade, Serbia between 27 November and 02 December 2022. Participants were introduced to the principles of forming an ADL team, learned about the specific tasks and roles of each ADL team member and available tools for eLearning. Partners had the opportunity to learn about the different options for learning management systems, including ILIAS, Moodle, and Blackboard, and to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each. The workshop also provided an opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with the ADDIE model for designing online courses and to discuss best practices in ADL course development. The workshop covered challenges, opportunities, and tasks for ADL teams in Serbia, and discussed the importance of ongoing education, courses, seminars, and trainings for ADL team members. Overall, the knowledge gained from this workshop is expected to be beneficial for those involved in developing distance learning in partner institutions. The team of experts is confident that this workshop will serve as a valuable resource for participants.
