On 24–26 April 2026, a working group meeting dedicated to the continued development of the “AI PME Instructor Employment Guide” was held in Olsztyn, Poland. Building on the outcomes of the first working group meeting held in March 2026, the session brought together experts and representatives involved in professional military education and the implementation of artificial intelligence in educational and training environments. The meeting focused on reviewing progress made since March, refining the role and competency framework of the AI instructor within PME, and advancing the key deliverables of the project.
Participants engaged in thematic working sessions and practical workshops covering content development, training scenarios, and the integration of the DEEPAIx platform. The meeting concluded with a summary session during which participants reviewed outputs, agreed on next steps, and distributed responsibilities for finalising the guide. The event confirmed the continued commitment of all participating nations to developing structured, practical standards for AI instructors in PME. Work on the guide is ongoing, with further meetings and review stages planned in the coming months.
