The Defence Education Enhancement Program Ukraine has taken a significant step forward by adding, in December and January, four NATO ADL courses, in Ukrainian language, to the Ukrainian e-Learning Portal. UKReLP is the dedicated area within the NATO DEEP ADL Portal, as the solution is tailored to the requests formulated during the annual programme reviews with Ukraine. In this case, it’s about three ADL courses on gender matters (NATO ADL #168 – Pre-Gender Advisor, NATO ADL #169 – Gender Perspective in Military Operations, NATO ADL #171 – Pre-Gender Focal Point Course), as adaptation of the English versions. The fourth one is the Counter Terrorism Reference Curriculum ADL course (e-CTRC) as adaptation of the English version. Upon finalizing each course and satisfaction survey, the respective certificate of completion is automatically generated (in English), showing individual QR code (for authenticity verification) and additional information on ECTS points and hours of study. Currently, there are sixteen ADL courses on the UKReLP, in English and Ukrainian, available to complete this way.
UKReLP – a key advantage and utility of this solution is its capacity to enhance learning effectiveness. This is achieved through providing personalized learning experiences, facilitated by the flexibility of digital tools. Access to dedicated areas and subareas enhances the learning capacity. This solution is a vital link between traditional learning and the evolving needs of the Ukrainian AF, while could be perceived as an important tool of Ukrainian AF to improve the quality of defense education and training, to meet the challenges of the new learning ecosystem and to achieve the NATO standards.
