The Computer Augmented Military English Language – Training & Technology (CAMEL-T&T) programme, a NATO DEEP eAcademy initiative, is moving forward through February and March 2026 with a primary focus on item-writing activities. This project is a major collaborative effort that actively engages military English specialists from several DEEP Partner countries, specifically Armenia, Georgia, Mauritania, Poland, and Ukraine. These experts contribute their specialized knowledge to develop comprehensive training items for listening and reading skills, ensuring the content is highly relevant to real-world military communication needs. A significant highlight for the programme is its upcoming presentation during the 14th Annual NORDEFCO ADL Conference. A dedicated session will explore how CAMEL-T&T leverages Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) tools and a unique computer-adaptive algorithm to provide tailored training and assessment paths for trainees.
