NATO DEEP eAcademy SMEs conducted the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) workshop from January 19th to 24th, 2026, in Romania and Poland. This residential event, titled the “Armenian Military Education ADL Roadmap Workshop,” was designed to advance the development of a comprehensive ADL framework for the Armenian Professional Military Education (PME) system. The workshop brought together key representatives from the Armenian Ministry of Defence and the Military Academy named after Vazgen Sargsyan to consolidate conceptual work and strengthen inter-institutional coordination for national ADL integration. During the workshop, the Armenian delegation explored established ADL ecosystems in both NATO countries.
The primary focus of these visits was to benchmark Armenian efforts against proven ADL integration models and to identify lessons learned and operational approaches used in Romania and Poland. By gathering practical insights and technological solutions from these hosts, the delegation prepared to move forward with their national initiatives by applying identified best practices. Through structured discussions and collaborative reflection, the participants identified actionable pathways to align international expertise with the specific needs of the Armenian context.
