From February 23 to 28, 2025, in Yerevan, an annual review session of the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (NATO DEEP) was conducted. The meetings, involving NATO DEEP Team, aimed to discuss the results of the support provided to educational institutions of the Armenian Armed Forces and training centers within the framework of the NATO DEEP programme. The participants reviewed the ongoing cooperation and identified new areas for future collaboration. 2024 marked significant progress in promoting online education and implementing Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) solutions. In response to the dynamic development of new technologies and changing educational market requirements, the preparation of teachers for online teaching, multimedia content creation, and the use of new digital tools became crucial. Special attention was given to the integration of modern technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). During the meetings, the parties agreed on a cooperation plan for 2025, setting specific goals to enhance educational competencies and launch new ADL projects. The planned initiatives will include developing digital competencies for teachers and modernizing the educational system through the introduction of innovative solutions.
