The online workshop “Basic ILIAS Administrator Course” was held from January 20 to 23, 2025. It brought together 14 participants from the Iraq ADL-center and military educational institutions. It focused on foundational administration skills for the ILIAS learning management system. NATO DEEP, as an organizer of this workshop, aimed to empower educators and instructors to manage and optimize the platform for their organizational needs.
The workshop covered essential topics such as user management, group creation, content organization, and basic system configuration. Through practical demonstrations and guided exercises, participants understood ILIAS’s core functionalities and how to troubleshoot common issues effectively. Moreover, attendees demonstrated remarkable dedication, participating in discussions and practical tasks.
By the end of the course, participants familiarized themselves with the tools and gained the confidence to take on administrative roles within the ILIAS platform. NATO DEEP remains committed to building digital capabilities in military education, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability in its partner institutions.
