The basic virtual content creation training successfully concluded online from October 21-24, 2024, marking the second cycle in NATO DEEP’s capacity-building efforts to strengthen the Tunisian Armed Forces’ (AF) advanced distance learning system. This event was designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for creating engaging virtual content using tools like the ILIAS SCORM editor, H5P, and Articulate Rise. Key topics included foundational principles of content creation (ADDIE Model) and practical techniques for using these tools to enhance interactivity in digital learning. Of the 12 participants, 8 completed the course and have been nominated for the upcoming Advanced Virtual Content Creation training, scheduled to take place in Tunisia in November. These participants represented a range of institutions, including the Land Forces Staff, Higher Military School, Staff School, Air Force Staff, Naval Staff, General Department of Signalling and Media, and the Defense Intelligence and Security Agency, showing high levels of engagement and enthusiasm for the new skills. The general purpose of the process is to enable Tunisian AF personnel to apply their skills in virtual content creation effectively, enhancing the quality and impact of distance learning across various military education platforms.
