The Advanced Virtual Content Creation Training was held in Olsztyn, Poland from July 3rd to 10th, 2024 by NATO DEEP eAcademy together with the Polish Association for Security. This training marked the culmination of a series of online courses focused on ADL. Earlier this year, participants completed foundational courses including the Root ILIAS Administrator, Basic ILIAS Administrator, Advanced ILIAS Administrator, Basic Virtual Content Creation, and Teaching Methods for ADL. These courses introduced 15 participants to essential ILIAS administration and virtual content creation principles, with the top 10 performers invited to the advanced training.

The training covered critical topics such as:

  • The ADDIE model for content creators
  • Storyboard development for online courses
  • Utilizing OSB Studio for video content creation
  • Leveraging tools like CHAT GPT and COPILOT for content creation
  • Exploring VR solutions for virtual content creation
  • Using Midea and Audiocast for virtual content creation
  • Creating content with Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline

Participants enhanced their knowledge and skills in virtual content creation, becoming adept at using various professional tools and programs. In the final segment of the course, they created small online courses based on the training they received, preparing them to develop similar virtual content for their institutions in Tunisia.
