It has been almost four years after starting the project “Running Effective Virtual Meeting – REVM” by using BigBlueButton, an open-source, web-conferencing system. The NATO DEEP eAcademy experts involved in the programme are focusing on spreading BigBlueButton as a common tool for online classes. During the three-day workshops participants from the NATO DEEP community enjoy the opportunity to develop their abilities and skills in e-learning and have the possibility to experience the comfort and chances which BigBlueButton can offer. Due to the continuous interest of the REVM project, and to meet the needs of the NATO DEEP community, four sessions were conducted in February, involving the participants from Iraq/NMI and Tunisia. Three sessions are scheduled for March, within the NATO DEEP Mauritania. More sessions will follow in April and May.
The BigBlueButton (BBB) platform is now available in version 2.7. At the same time, the platform interface has been updated to version Greenlight 3.2.1.4 and all data has been transferred.
