The delegation of NATO DEEP eAcademy actively participated in the I/ITSEC 2023 conference, held in Orlando. The group, led by Danuta Pietraszkiewicz (Deputy Director) included: Artur Starosz (Deputy Director for ICT Matters), Valerii Dobrohurskyi (Senior Adviser), and also the Rector of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn – Assoc. Prof. Andrzej Przyborowski, PhD. During the event, an important highlight was the participation in the panel discussion: “How to Build a Responsive Online Learning System for War Times”. The tutorial included insights from prominent personalities, including: (1) Major General Serhii Salkutsan, MILREP NATO HQ, Ukraine, (2) Colonel Maxim Tyshchenko, director of the Scientific Center for Distance Learning, NDU of Ukraine, (3) Director Geir Belgen Isaksen, Department of Administration and ADL, Norwegian Defence University College, (4) Danuta Pietraszkiewicz, Poland. NATO DEEP eAcademy’s participation in this panel underscores its commitment to advancing the field of online learning, especially in the context of resilience in wartime. The participation in this international forum was of special importance, seen from fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange perspectives. I/ITSEC 2023 conference key statistics data are as follows: (1) Exhibit Visitors: 9,150, (2) Conference Attendees: 5,450, (3) Exhibit Personnel: 6,850, (4) International Visitors: 2,040, as attendees from 60 countries, (5) Press Outlets: 65. I/ITSEC featured 517 exhibiting companies, occupying 467 exhibit spaces in 210,000 net square feet.
