On the 20th November, the National Defence University of Ukraine, together with the Norwegian Defence University hosted an international conference entitled “Challenges of ADL implementation in the educational process of higher military educational institutions and possible ways of their solution”.
The event involved representatives and experts from 13 countries, both NATO Allies and Partners. This was Mariusz Solis, NATO DEEP Coordinator, who delivered one of the official opening speeches (as prerecorded videocast). He echoed the sentiments of the former Ukrainian MoD, emphasizing the Alliance’s unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Mariusz Solis confirmed that the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme would stand as a testament to this commitment. We look forward to its continued support – he added.
Additionally, participants were able to listen to presentations on topics connected to ADL. One of the most important topics covered was the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of education.
Among other speakers, there were SMEs representing the NATO DEEP eAcademy.
