5-10 November, NATO DEEP ADL workshop was held in Olsztyn, Poland. It was addressed to the representatives of the uniformed services of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), representing key entities in the education system of the Ministry of Defense (Doctrine and Training Center) and the Ministry of Security (Police Academy). A representative of NATO Headquarters from Sarajevo was present. The training staff was international – from Germany and Poland. The essence of the workshop was to acquire the ability to independently create interactive e-learning materials. The main tool was the NATO DEEP Portal platform, where teaching resources had been collected. Participants acquired competences in the use of applications such as Articulate 360, the ILIAS and BigBlueButton platforms and VR/AR systems. During their stay in Olsztyn, workshop participants met with the authorities of the Polish Association for Security, the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. During the trip to Elk, they met with the mayor of this city and the director of the UWM Elk Campus Branch. Polish Association for Security supported NATO DEEP eAcademy with its capacity. The first event of this new format was conducted in Olsztyn in August within the NATO DEEP Iraq Programme.
