The conference was opened by the Macedonian Minister of Defense and by the Dean of the Military Academy. The focus of the meeting was on a situational brief from Ukraine, reforms in process, efforts at e-learning solidarity, future reform directions, transforming military education in Ukraine, and the research concept: “Use of ADL in War – lessons from Ukraine”.
The goals of the event have been achieved. The joint effort was made to prepare a PfPC ADL WG white paper on the subject: “Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) in War: Training While We Fight in Ukraine, lessons and future projects”, which covers three perspectives: 1. Teach the teacher/Faculty & Course; 2. Hardware & Software; 3. Coordination & Policy. The above-mentioned observations and recommendations will allow taking further steps in ADL development.
