Why DEEP eAcademy?
Before the foundation of the NATO DEEP, back in 2007, there was no single entity within the NATO devoted either to training and education at partner nations level, or to the development of a common approach to faculty development, curriculum development and institutions building. It was only then that NATO DEEP was officially launched, aiming to deliver respective knowledge, skills and experiences, within the Partner Nations environment. Currently NATO DEEP reaches out to 16 countries, aiming to further promote NATO values and share best practices within Higher Military Education Systems.
NATO DEEP eAcademy provides education and training in the field of the NATO DEEP Programme. It aims to develop and promote a common understanding of NATO values among civilian and military personnel and to identify and disseminate, through dedicated events, the best practices in relation to various issues. By doing so, the eAcademy complements the national efforts in the field of military education and training, also focusing on scientific issues, dedicated projects.
