On 3 October 2026, the fifth edition of the Online Teaching Fundamentals Course (OTFC) officially started with an Opening Ceremony, followed by Module 1: Course Orientation.
The Opening Ceremony welcomed 32 participants from seven countries: Azerbaijan, Colombia, Georgia, Iraq, Morocco, Serbia and Ukraine.

Following the Opening Ceremony, participants joined the first course session, Module 1: Course Orientation, which introduced the course structure, learning environment, organisational arrangements and expectations for the upcoming months.
The fifth edition of OTFC marks the beginning of another international learning journey, bringing together educators and professionals from NATO Partner Nations to further develop their competencies in online teaching and digital education.
Next week, participants will continue with Module 2: Introduction to Online Teaching, focusing on the foundations of e-learning and the roles of online learners and instructors.
