The MED CAMEL Programme continued its steady development with another successful item-writing session. As part of the ongoing expansion of the platform’s assessment resources, new Listening and Reading items were developed across the relevant proficiency levels.
The newly created items were based on authentic materials, ensuring that the assessment content reflects realistic language use and relevant communication contexts. Following development and review, the new Listening and Reading items were added to the MED CAMEL algorithm, further expanding the range and diversity of training materials available to users.
This latest session represents another important step in the planned 2026 development schedule and contributes to the continued strengthening of MED CAMEL as a dynamic medical language training and assessment resource supporting the NATO DEEP programme and its partner nations.
