He also is the host of the Commission\u2019s podcast series, Helsinki on the Hill. A former Specialist in Foreign Affairs at the Congressional Research Service, Alex was Director for the Defence and Security Committee at NATO\u2019s Parliamentary Assembly.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael focuses on the South Caucasus and Black Sea regional affairs, as a senior policy advisor.
