{"id":2146,"date":"2022-08-18T19:28:23","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T19:28:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deepportal.hq.nato.int\/eacademy\/?p=2146"},"modified":"2022-08-18T19:29:21","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T19:29:21","slug":"nttc-and-ifest-conferences-featured-nato-deep-eacademy-participants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deepportal.hq.nato.int\/eacademy\/deep\/nttc-and-ifest-conferences-featured-nato-deep-eacademy-participants\/","title":{"rendered":"NTTC and iFest conferences featured NATO DEEP eAcademy participants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two conferences were organised in August in the US, focusing on military education and training based on the innovative technologies, tools and approaches.\u00a0Of special importance was the presence, in both conferences, of two participants\u00a0from the NDUU\u00a0named after Ivan\u00a0Cherniakhovskyi, who attended the conferences under the NATO DEEP aegis.\u00a0The first event &#8211; NATO Training Technology Conference was hosted 10-12 August in Norfolk, Virginia. NTTC conference gathered 21 speakers, 6 exhibitors\/companies, and more than 60 in-person attendees,\u00a0Magdalena Stabla &#8211; NATO DEEP eAcademy Instructional Designer included,\u00a0from eleven countries:\u00a0Canada, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, USA, Ukraine, United Kingdom.\u00a0The second one &#8211; iFest conference was hosted\u00a016-18 August in Washington, D.C.\u00a0and the main theme was \u201cNew Paradigm of Learning: Partner and Prevail\u201d. As usual, there were many activities &#8211; keynote speakers, and tutorials. The NATO DEEP eAcademy Deputy Director for Academic Affairs \u2013 Marcin J\u00f3\u017awiak delivered a presentation entitled:\u00a0<em>Supporting Digital Transformation through Long-Term Faculty Development Programmes. A Case Study of the e-Instructor Certification Programme\u00a0<\/em>(see photo).\u00a0During iFest, COL Maksym Tyschenko was featured as one of the speakers with his presentation entitled:\u00a0<em>ADL in crisis: report from the frontline<\/em>.
